I started one painting without any shapes over the summer. It was much spontanious. Probably I got a lot of influence by Helen Frankenthaler. I believe this is the new approach and I need explore more.
小島さん!!! 元気? I found your blog through Artomatic. I was looking at your paintings, and I can't help but notice comparions to Takashi Murikami . . . I don't know, it's interesting to think about a similar aesthetic coming through a national identity, but the varying ways it does so through geographic location and gender . . .

Thank you for your comment. I thought it is very interesting because I never heard of Murakami's name throught my paintings.
I feel my current paintings are more like my inner landscape....心情風景
See you at Mason!
